When the fall posts start to pop up but you're grasping on to summer for dear life... ☀️🌴 Reminiscing on our trip to NOLA a few weeks back and all of the amazing things we did in just a few days. 🧳 If you're planning to make visit to New Orleans, SAVE this post for reference!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Dine and drink at @Tableau_NOLA, and be sure to eat outside for the best French Quarter views!
• Walk down Magazine Street and stop inside the boutiques.
• Ooh and ahh at the incredible (INCREDIBLE!) homes in the Garden District (Sandra Bulluck's home is a showstopper)
• Stop in a record shop and bring home some classic New Orleans jazz.
• Do a Ghost Tour in the French Quarter (don't worry, it's not scary, but you learn SO much during it – and you can grab a drink to bring with you!)
• Grab brunch at @WillaJeanNewOrleans. It was our favorite meal of the trip!
• Grab a cocktail at @HotTinBar for the most beautiful views.
• Head to the true, classic speakesy, @DoubleDealerNOLA. Be prepared to lose signal and get transported back to 1920.
• Stay at @HotelFontenot, a new hotel in the Warehouse District, and home to the Peacock Room (see below). Such a beautiful hotel and a great location!
• Head to the @PeacockRoomNOLA for cocktails, and if you go on a Thursday night, they have live music (we fell in LOVE with @neworleanssongbird – see my story highlight, she was SO fun) and definitely get the cold brew martini.
• Last but not least, my favorite spot in all of New Orleans was @N7NOLA. It truly feels like you've been whisked away to Italy! Beyond beautiful, and perfect for a date night or wine with the girls.

A little look into one of my favorite rooms of our apartment: our guest room. And oddly enough, it's one of the most complete rooms of our new space too! Over on stories, I'm giving you the full guest room tour! 🤍 But truly, the showstopper is this room is this vintage-inspired rug from @rugs_usa. Beyond impressed by the quality and design. It brings everything together. 👏🏼🤍 And of course, you'll always catch my favorite @decoratd chunky knit blanket in shot. I love it so much, it's in two rooms now! #rugsusa #decoratd #gifted

BACK IN ACTION! 🙌🏼 We made it through 1 big move, 1 new job, 1 transition to a remote job, endless wedding to-dos, 4 weekend road trips, 3 rounds of guests in Houston, and 1 fast and furious trip back to Chicago for wedding planning and work – we really made the most of @coachemini's slower time before camp and the season begins (coaching life, I tell ya...).

What a whirlwind of a time, and while it was so good to put the phone down and really soak up that time with Ilir be, I am so ready to get back on the blogging game and to be HOME. 🤍 SO MUCH TO SHARE! Here’s a little peak…

Say hello to the worst posters-while-traveling ever, but not sure if that’s a strength or a weakness? 🤷🏼‍♀️ Loved soaking up @coachemini’s vacation time before the season starts and adventuring around our new area of the country. One more busy, busy travel week to come, and then we finally have a little bit of a moment to breathe. Catch up soon?! 🖤

Each and every day we are getting closer and closer to our next version of a healthy and safe normal, and my calendar sure is letting me know events are about to be BACK. 🙏🏼🗓🤍 Who else has a jam-packed later half of the year? 🙈 Over on the blog, I’m talking GLAM SQUADS because after a year of sweats and top knots, I feel like I’ve forgotten what I’m doing and I need all of the help I can get. 😂 Doing some bragging on @hannahelisabethbeauty’s behalf and chatting spray tans, blowouts, subscription services, on-site hair and makeup and more! Cmon over busy ladies, this one is for you. 🙌🏼 (And don’t forget, code KYLIE will save you a little extra 💰)
