Our wedding was full of so many sentimental details that will forever mean so much to @coachemini and I, all the way down to the wines we selected. 🍷🤍 Even in the midst of a crazy last year, we really challenged ourselves to slow down and enjoy the little moments of wedding planning, like picking out our wedding wines. We chose three wines from @seaglasswineco that our guests absolutely loved, and we will cherish from now on too. 🤍

Ten things your wedding hair and makeup artists want you to know (straight from my wedding day gals, @sarah_hebeauty + @selina_hebeauty!)... 💍

1. When finding bridal hair and makeup inspo, try to look for girls with similar hair colors/textures or skin tones/facial shapes. The same makeup approach will look totally different girl to girl, but especially if you have a different facial or eye shape – and managing expectations is so important during this process (and let's be real, the entire wedding planning process).

2. Hair extensions are not always necessary for a voluminous look – sometimes, they can even get in the way! More on this on the blog...

3. Only YOU know how you feel in your hair and makeup. No one else will know if you are self conscious about how your nose looks or always getting irritated by a hair that just won't sit right. Your hair and makeup might look perfect to someone else, but if you don't feel perfect in it, communicate! And your makeup artists and hair stylists absolutely want to hear your feedback, because above all else, they are there to make you HAPPY.

Thank you to the incredibly talented @hannahelisabethbeauty team for bringing my romantic, natural and glowy bridal party beauty vision to life! 🤍 10/10 recommend creating a beauty vision board that shares a general direction that matches your wedding aesthetic, and then letting your wedding party decide their exact hair and makeup style so they can choose what they love best – whether that's a party pony or a soft eyeliner wing. My girls looked FLAWLESS and I love how everyone's personality came out through their hair and makeup choices. Can't wait to share more about my wedding beauty experience soon – stay tuned!

4 days until I'm back getting glammed with my girls for the BIG DAY. 💍🥂 Currently living in top knots, a state of constant hair masks prepping the hair, and, of course, endless to-dos, but dreaming of our bachelorette party @drybarcharleston afternoon. Had the MOST fun getting blow outs with my girls while sipping on some bubbles before our surprise photoshoot planned by my most fabulous MOH. Cannot wait to share those photos soon!
