In all honesty, 2020 hasn't started off as I had hoped. 🙈Normally, the New Year always lights a fire in me and I can't wait to set my goals and jump to action! And this year, as much as I tried to get motivated, I just felt burnt out. 2019 challenged me in so many amazing ways, from new and exciting steps in my career, to working hard on balancing blogging, to taking the first steps in planning a wedding, to strengthening and building new friendships, and honestly, just to trying to keep myself healthy, which fell to the side a little too often. Here’s to two years living in the city of my dreams. 🖤 There is not a single day that goes by where I’m not in awe of how lucky I am to live in the most incredible city. Two years ago, I moved into my tiny studio apartment, so excited to be surrounded by the city lights, but definitely overwhelmed. Bus routes, train lines, food scenes, neighborhoods, connecting with people - there was SO much to figure out. 🏙 But it’s amazing the things you can learn in two years and the leaps you can make. That said, I’ll never stop soaking in this city like every moment is my first. I’ll never stop filling up my camera with pictures and staring out the window driving along Lake Shore Drive, and I can absolutely, 100% guarantee you, I’ll never get over the beauty of this city.
