How can it be possible that I have been a college graduate for almost a month already?! Where does time go? A couple weeks ago, I talked a bit about my college graduation! I loved sharing with you all some of the important lessons I learned during my three years at The University of Iowa and I appreciate your kind words so much! Thank you all for the support– it meant a lot!
Right before my graduation, I shared my favorite little white dresses andย spilled that one of those dresses would beย my college graduation dress! After the craziness of moving and readjusting to life after college, I am excited to finally share with you this lovely dress I wore! You might have seen a sneak peak of it if you read my college lessons post, but today I am excited to share the details with you!
As a previous college student and now a young professional, I am always looking for budget-friendly pieces. However, as a shopaholic and avid fashion lover (obviously), I try to balance accommodating my small budget andย still finding trendy, high quality looks.
NordstromRack has been a great resource for me the past couple of years forย finding high quality, trend-right, budget-friendly looks (and a bonus: they have amazing customer service). Tularosa is one of my favorite designer brands, and when I found this gorgeous dress, I was certain I needed it. I kept telling myself, “you only graduate college once, just get the dress,” but the savvy shopper in me just couldn’t drop $250 on a dress I would only realistically wear a couple of times. I kept searching around and came across the white version of the dress I loved for a third of the cost at NordstromRack and couldn’t have clicked on the “order” button faster. I was so thrilled with the quality and loved how this beautiful dress photographed. Lesson learned: sometimes you buy the dress, but other times, you just need to step up your shopping game.
