If you’re considering having your bachelorette party in Charleston, this is your sign to BOOK THAT TRIP! We had the absolute best time in Charleston, and I 10/10 recommend this adorable coastal city for the cutest getaway with your girls. I had been to Charleston a few times with my (now) husband previously and we always had the best time. But with it being such a feminine, pastel-filled city, I knew I wanted the chance to come with my girlfriends too.
I’ll be honest: I had a hard time deciding between things for MOST wedding planning decisions, but the bachelorette party? I was set on Charleston from the very beginning. And after the best weekend there, I have no regrets!
I might be a few (several) months late on this… but I’m FINALLY getting the chance to put together my Charleston bachelorette party guide for you, sharing everything we did during our three-day trip, and shouting out a few other things that just barely miss the cut, but might be perfect for your trip.

Charleston Bachelorette Party Airbnb
One of the very biggest stars of the show: our ADORABLE Charleston bachelorette party Airbnb! This space was perfect if you are traveling with a smaller group, as it fits six comfortably. (Which, if it works for you, I couldn’t recommend a more intimate group for your bachelorette party more! It is SO much easier to move from activity to activity, really spend time with each individual person, and it opens you up to more restaurants and bars with space constrictions in mind.)
We all were absolutely OBSESSED with this Airbnb. Not only was the layout simply perfect with its large communal space, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a gorgeous screened-in porch out front, but it was also steps away from the ocean and right near a beach entrance. The neighborhood was so cute, quiet and safe, and it was just a quick 20-minute drive downtown.
See a full tour of the space here and more on how we decorated the space here.
As if it couldn’t get any better, unlike other Airbnbs, we also didn’t have to take down ANY of our decorations β as you’d do with normal rental clean-up procedures. Being able to wake up on Sunday after a long bachelorette weekend, pack your bags and leave is such a blessing. Shoutout to these lovely owners for completely making our Sunday morning (slash whole trip!).

Charleston Bachelorette Party Decorating Services
If you’re having your bachelorette party in Charleston, Liz and I will scream from the rooftops about the lovely team at Kay & Co. Liz used their services for decorations, setting up our bubbly bar, and stocking our fridge, which was SO helpful! When we arrived to the Airbnb on Thursday, drinks were in the fridge, snacks were on the counter, and everything looked perfect. Logistically, it makes the lives of your bachelorette party planner so much easier, too. No need to arrive early to decorate or send the bride out on a little adventure while you frantically get everything set up. SO helpful!
Charleston Bachelorette Party Itinerary

My sweet MOH Liz did such an incredible job planning the bachelorette party of my dreams β full of quality girl time, a beach day, beauty and self-care, and lots of delicious meals for my foodie soul.
We brainstormed the key moments I really wanted to have with my girls, created a list of potential restaurants and activities and then she took it and ran with it (which, if you’re a type A bride, highly recommend this planning structure!).
Once she had everything finalized, Liz used this adorable Etsy template to send our itinerary, shown above. Now onto the details…
What to Do in Charleston During a Bachelorette Party
On-Site Spray Tans
What better way to start off a girls weekend than with a fresh tan? ESPECIALLY if you don’t have to leave the house to do it! Liz booked an on-site spray tan service for all of the girls, which was so fun. Check out her work here.

Beach Day with Cabana Club Charleston
I think everyone agreed one of our FAVORITE parts of the weekend was our beach day with Cabana Club! Does it get any cuter than pink cabanas along the coast? The team at Cabana Club has your cabanas, chairs and towels set up before you arrive, and then they come and take everything done when you’re wrapped up. You can choose between a variety of different setups to fit your party size and time allotments. 10/10 recommend! SUCH a fun experience.
Boat Day on the Water
We ultimately ran out of time in our jam-packed weekend for a boat day, but if we had one more day, we for sure would have loved to spend a day out on the water. Definitely consider this if you can make it work in your schedule.

At Home Brunch
There are SO many cute Charleston Airbnb with outdoor spaces, so if you can snag one with a porch or a patio, definitely take advantage of them! One of my favorite memories from the trip was our bubbly brunch (with feather pajamas, of course) before our beach day on our adorable screened-in porch. This is when my bridesmaids SO kindly gave me the sweetest gifts, too.
Blowouts at Dry Bar
I love that there are SO many ways to have self-care moments during your bachelorette weekend in Charleston, from spas to facials to blowouts. DryBar is always a vibe, and we loved getting our hair done before our next activity… which waaaaaas…

Photoshoot with Your Girls
The secret activity above on Liz’s itinerary? A photoshoot with my girls! My bestie sure knows me well… Her and my husband found the perfect photographer who was just my style (huge shoutout to Rebecca Sigety) and we spent a few hours wandering the streets of Charleston, taking the most memorable photos. I feel SO lucky to have these photos to cherish forever, and am so grateful to Liz for organizing this. 12/10 recommend a bachelorette party photoshoot!

Shop King Street
After our photoshoot, we shopped up and down King Street, and there are just so many cute boutiques!

A Night Out on King Street
And lastly, if you want a fun night out, King Street is definitely your place βΒ full of energy, great music, and lots of fun bars to pop around to. We spent our last night out here and had a blast!
Best Restaurants and Bars in Charleston
Poogan’s Porch
Poogan’s Porch is the epitome of the perfect southern brunch. The vibes are SO good and the food is delicious too. Truly a perfect Charleston experience.

Little Palm Bar
We spotted Little Palm Bar on Instagram and came over here after brunch, and it was SO cute. The perfect spot to hang out and sip a cocktail that’s as beautiful as it is delicious.
Frannie & the Fox
Our big night out dinner was at Frannie & the Fox outdoors by their fireplace, and again, the vibes were just perfection. The food was so delicious, and we had the best time.
Camellia’s
Sadly, we didn’t make it to Camellia’s (we were having too much fun at Frannie & the Fox), but if you go to Charleston for your bachelorette party or a girls trip, PLEASE go! I cannot handle how cute this space is. Note: You can’t make reservations, and the space isn’t THAT big, so it might be more challenging for larger groups.

The Darling Oyster Bar
We dined at The Darling Oyster Bar our first night downtown, and it was another really cute, classic Charleston spot. We had such a good time here!
167 Raw
We went back and forth between The Darling Oyster Bar and 167 Raw, so if we had one more meal, 167 definitely would have been it. I’ve heard the BEST things from our Charleston friends β definitely recommend!

Not Part of the Plan….
NOT part of the itinerary was me getting sick on Friday (before the shenanigans even began), losing my entire voice, and having the worst sore throat. I was determined to power through but was not doing well to start out the weekend. Pictured above: not the kind of shots most people are doing on their bachelorette party. Ha! My sweet husband sent every type of immunity shot, so much tea, honey and all of the immunity-boosting foods he could think of… And are likely the reason I was even able to make it out on the town. I married a good one.
Bachelorette Party Gift Bags for my Bridesmaids
More to come soon on the gift bags I created for my sweet bridesmaids who so kindly joined me on this amazing trip, but you can see the quick details here.
And lastly, I couldn’t wrap out this blog post without thanking my INCREDIBLE maid of honor who planned so much of this, and my AMAZING bridesmaids who joined me on this once-in-a-lifetime trip. I know bachelorette parties are an investment of time and money (and lots of energy, ha), so I am just so grateful to everyone who joined and made it such a special weekend.
