Happy 2020! I hope you all are having such a great start to the new year. Over here on Collectively Kylie, my goal is always to help provide advice, share my thoughts, and lead you in the right direction on products that can make an impact on your day-to-day life. Today, I spent some time reflecting on my very best purchases in 2019 from beauty to fashion to home and wanted to share with you the buys that have really made an impact for me.
Best Beauty Products

Tula Face Wash: I’m sure you’ve heard the buzz around this face wash, and let me tell you, the buzz is well-deserved. I absolutely love Tula as a brand. Their products are clean, gentle and really effective. As you know, I am a firm believer in the power of probiotics, so I love incorporating that into my skincare too! This face wash is incredible at keeping my skin clean, hydrated, and it’s fantastic at taking makeup off! I typically use my Dermalogica Precleanse face oil (which I have been using for years) to get a majority of the makeup off, and then follow that by using the Tula cleanser. They are the perfect duo!

LashFood Eye Lash Serum: I started using this lash serum a few months ago, and I am in love! Lash serums made me a bit nervous because typically, they are filled with a lot of unknown chemicals. LashFood is completely natural and ecocert which makes me feel so much better putting it close to my eyes. I’ve also tried lash serums that have burned a bit, but this one doesn’t at all! After my first few weeks, I didn’t see much of a change and was a bit bummed. Then one month hit and I could absolutely see a difference! Month two and three I saw even more of a difference! It takes a bit of time to get going, but then it’s amazing! Also, I’m on month six and still using the same bottle, so that’s a huge perk.
Beauty Blender Dupes: I trade out my beauty blender every other month or so to keep the process hygienic, but that can get expensive. This pack of Beauty Blender dupes is amazing and so affordable.
Travel Makeup Organizer: This makeup organizer is a LIFE SAVER! I can’t rave about it enough. For under $20, you won’t find anything better. It protects your makeup so well so you don’t need to worry about broken palettes or cracked bottles and you can move around the inside structure to fit your products best. I am so glad I found it!

Tula Eye Balm: Here I am talking about Tula again! I love this eye balm so much! It rolls onto your eyes like a glue stick and gives your under eyes a bit of a glowy, dewy shine while brightening and providing a cooling sensation. I use it every morning!

Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner: I wear a liquid eyeliner cat eye every single day and test a lot of products. This one has ended up being my favorite! It goes on so smooth and never smudges.
L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer: This primer is the real deal. It makes such a difference on my lash routine and it’s so affordable!
Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara: I fell in love with this mascara this year! It gives my lashes so much length and stays put — I never have smearing mascara or bits falling off! It goes on sale every once in a while (like during Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty typically) so I try to snatch it then. For a more affordable alternative, I’ve used this L’Oreal one for years and love it. These two layer together really well too.

NYX Butter Gloss: For the price, this gloss cannot be beat! I love glosses that look creamy and have a bit more of a tint to it, so NYX’s Butter Gloss is perfect! I love all the different shades of nude they offer too. My favorites are Praline and Madeline.
COSRX Pimple Patches: When I get a larger zit, this product has absolutely become my go-to. It works SO WELL. I am so impressed. You just put a patch over your pimple before bed and it is dramatically smaller the next day. I am so happy to found this product!

St. Tropez Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Face Mist: If you’re looking for a self-tanner for your face that really makes a difference overnight, I love this face mist! It is also so easy to use and fool-proof. If you’re looking for a more natural, daily face self-tanner, I am loving this Coola one that also has anti-aging benefits.
NYX Fluff + Fill Eyebrow Pencil: I have found my holy grail eyebrow product – and it’s under $10! I love the shape of this pencil because it’s a bit wide, so you can really make a difference on eyebrows.

Lakur Nail Polish: This year, I found my go-to nail polish. No other nail polish has ever stayed on longer than Lakur! I use their gel base, then a color, then their topcoat and it truly stays put for several days without a single chip — and I chip my nail polish easily (I’m not very gentle on my hands). It is the best nail polish and I could not recommend it more! I am so impressed.

BareMinerals Invisible Bronze Bronzer: I also discovered this product this year and it has quickly made its way into my daily routine. I love that it has a glowy look to it and it blends so well.

Tarte Shape Tape: Not sure if this can classify as one of the best of 2019, since I’ve been using it for years and years, but I had to put it on this list! I have not found a better concealer. It is TRULY the best.
Mario Badescu Rose Lip Balm: This lip balm is one of the best I’ve ever tried. I truly am in love with it! I love a rose balm and the tube makes it such an easy for application. It’s perfect for healing chapped lips or from protecting your lips and keeping them hydrated. The price is also fantastic!

Rose Quartz Face Roller: Face rolling has been one of my favorite additions to my skincare routine! It is so relaxing, really helps to push my product into my skin, and helps to increase blood flow and circulation. I definitely recommend jade or rose quartz rolling after putting on some face oil – it’s the best!

Native Deodorant: I have been on the hunt for a natural deodorant than WORKS and I am officially hooked on Native! Each deodorant lasts such a long time, smells amazing, and WORKS! All-natural, effective and affordable – I’m SO happy I found Native. My favorite scents are the Vanilla & Coconut and Lavendar & Rose. You can also make your own scent and Native will send you a personalized deodorant, which is so cute.
PYT Clean Beauty: PYT was a brand I fell in love with this year and love all of their products! They are one of my favorite clean beauty products and definitely worth a try. I especially love their blush and lip gloss.
Fashion

American Eagle Mom Jeans: I have these mom jeans in two colors and love them! The quality is amazing and the fit is so on-trend. Plus, you can’t beat the price.
Levi’s Super Skinny High Waisted Jeans: These might not be a 2019 find, but they were a staple throughout the year. I love these jeans and also have them in so many colors. I am a huge Levi’s fan and these jeans are one of my favorite of their pieces.

Pearl Barrette Pack: I snatched this pearl barrette pack this summer for $3 and have worn them weekly all year long and they are still in great shape. You can’t go wrong!
H&M Turtleneck Sweater: I love this turtleneck so much that I bought it in three colors! It is $25 and looks like a $100 sweater. It’s so good!
Clear Game Day Handbag: I grabbed this clear handbag to add to my game day looks for Ilir’s season and am so impressed with how it’s held up! It’s $15 and so worth it.

Aldo Black Crossbody: Ilir got me this bag for Christmas and I am IN LOVE! The quality feels on par with my Rebecca Minkoff bag and I am obsessed with the size.
Spanx Leather Leggings: These leggings had quite the year! I jumped on board the Spanx Leather Leggings wagon and I’m so glad I did. They are SO GOOD. They elevate any casual look and worth with dressier styles too. The compression is incredible and they lift your bootie, which is a perk!
Home + Lifestyle
Vintage Carry-On Suitcase: I bought this suitcase early this year and love it so much! The vintage design is exactly what I was looking for.
Brita Water Bottle: I absolutely love this water bottle to help make sure my water is always filtered and clean and I love the shape! I drink so much more water when I have a straw, but the wide mouth on it makes it much easier to clean.
Probiotics: How many times have you heard about me rave about the power of probiotics? 2019 was the year I fully got on board with probiotics and I swear they have made such a difference.
Peppermint Oil Rollerball: I swear by peppermint oil for headaches, stomach aches, and to help energize myself. I keep one rollerball at home and one at work and when I need a boost or to combat a headache, I roll it on my temples and on the back of my neck.
Air Fryer: Oh my goodness, I got LOVE my air fryer! It’s totally changed the way I cook. I love cooking vegetables, quinoa burgers and so much more in my air fryer to get it crispy.
